- Xatui -
Xatui, a large cruiser, sleek, dark, and somewhat resembling a very angular fish, held in orbit above Arkithis.
Preathus, the Bythis that took care of the ship, was awaiting the arrival of their guest, the hard, skin-like, floor's throbbing always reminding him that Xatui was alive.
She, too, was eager to meet their guest.

Meanwhile, a new addition to the fleet of Arkithis, a carrier by the name of Tranquil Vanguard, passed by them. The ship was so massive that it's shape was not even constant, bending slightly at it's middle.
She was heavily armed and heavily armoured, and had the appearance of a massive crustation. Five cruisers the size of Xatui could fit inside her carapace.
Xatui blinked as the ship shot forward and dissapeared.

- Thyala, Hyteria Matrix -
Ssisithus paced in the structures control room. One of the few things they had brought with them. A question kept repeating in his mind, Was it worth it? Ssisithus snarled at a drone which had stopped working. It resumed its post quickly. The room itself was rather advanced, the entire structure, which towered over the City of Hythan, was extremely advanced. It was powered by two Gravimin Generators. Though he knew that he could not create any more of such generators. His race would have to rely on the generators they cheaply put together themselves or brought from other races, the main, Ssisithus knew, were called Fusion Reactors. He had used these for a basic... "factory" was hardly the right word. The current problem with the reactors were the maintenance cost, as the "Factories" needed power, and were designed to use a cheap source of energy which was no longer avaliable to them. The Thylani hissed and then walked to a door, tapped a code into a pad and then exited after the door slid open. The door slamed shut after he left.

The High Eminence Vangarel Ekbanarth twined his claws thoughtfully, wondering at his decision for a second meeting. As the ship, fashioned after his own kind and colored in his rank, flew toward his destination, he glared at the thought of betrayal. Who was he to trust any race but his own? It was unnatural.

But yet... there was something odd about this one, something he couldn't place, something... genuine. As he battled with his thoughts, his ship neared its destination.

- Xatiu -
Preathus stood near the airlock. He jumped as Xatui set a wet tentacle on his shoulder.
"What?" His two side-jaws shifted and slotted together like a shield in from of his mouth. He sniffed, blinking his strange, geko-like eyes slowly.
"Do try to be nice."
"I was nice enough the last time."
"If you say so." The tentacle slid off and hit the floor with a spalt. Preathus peered out of the airlock door.
"It's a rather strange looking ship." Xathui commented as she positioned herself.

-Wind Flame-

Vangarel peered at the ship, once again stunned by the fact that it lived and breathed as it flew. "Flame, what is your opinion of this?"

"Vangarel, I may have sentience, but I am not living. That ship still confounds me..."

"I see. Well, our tech is certainly a lot different... anyway, send a transmission. I wish to board."

"It is already done, your Eminence."

- Xatui -
The organic ship pulled alongside the mechanical one, extending a long, fleshy, tube. The trunk-like thing silenly attatched to the Wind Flame.
"Hello." Xatui 'said' to the other ship. "I think I am attatched correctly."

-Wind Flame-

"Indeed. Well met again, Xatui." To Vangarel: "We are docked and you may board when ready, your Eminence."

Vangarel sighed, for some reason feeling nervous. "This is all new to me, having allies. My pride has never been so much at war with itself... and my high council is not helping with their opinions."

"Relax, your Eminence. You are showing way too many signs of fear. It is unnecessary, I am monitoring everyone's mind signals on both ships, there is no ill intention."

"We'll see." Vangarel moved toward the other ship, hiding his feelings behind a mask of indifference.

- Thyala, Hythan City -
Ssisithus exited the Matrix. He turned quickly down a street, occasionally hissing at a disorganized Protection Officer. He quickly crossed through the streets untill he reached the second largest building in the City, the Hyterian Palace. He quickly rushed up to its doors, put his hand onto a hand-scanner, and then walked in as the machine admitted Ssisithus.

- Xatui/Wind Flame -
Xatui watched the other ship curiously, but said nothing more. Her tube held fast to the Wind Flame as the more delicate lifeform passed through.
Preathus swallowed and waited at the other end.

-Between Wind Flame and Xatui-

Vangarel walked through the tube, catching a glimpse of Preathus. Despite his fear, he smiled, and stood before him and bowed, bending his forelegs and touching his head to the floor, wings flat on the ground in his race's customary gesture of respect and lower/equal rank. "We meet again, Preathus."

- Thyala, Hyteria Palace -
Ssisithus moved into his study and sat down.
He had a picked up a odd kind of phone. He then dialed a number to scouts in a quadrent.
"Dronan, I have some orders for you."

- Xatui -
"Vangarel." Preathus said, spreading his angular side mandibles in greeting and bowing his head. "A pleasure to see you."
The ship purred, vibrating.
"Hello."

- Somewhere Nearby -
A greenish ship rested in space. The ship was a sphere with a 'Halo' which went around it, moving slowly around.
The ships engines flared and it began moving.

-Between Xatui and Wind Flame-

Vangarel blinked as he rose from his bow, once again taken by surprise at the ship purring in pleasure. "Yes, a pleasure. How go happenings with your people? And of my offer to lend my arms and technology to aid your race, has it gone any further?"

Wind flame: "Always right to business with you, your Eminence?" Flashes of green behind him signified amusement. Vangarel glared and said, "Must you choose now of all times to let fly your sassy tongue?"

*More green light*

- Between Xatui and Wind Flame -
"Everyhting goes well. Your technology interests us greatly." Preathus said.
"Would you like to come through?" Xatui asked.

A drone kept an eye on the strange green ship.

- Near Xatui and Other Irrelevant ship -
The Scout ship picked up full speed.
It attempted to fly straight over the two ships and then rush into the nearest asteroid field.

Vangarel nodded. "I refrained from eating so that I may have room for your intriguing meals." He walked through.

Wind flame noticed a suspicion coming from Xatui. He said to her, "Is everything alright? You seem troubled, your mind focused elsewhere."

- Xatui/Wind Flame -
"A strange ship. It's gone." Xatui said, thoughtfully. "I wouldn't tell Vangarel. Oh. I have been working on an AI interface. Dispite my being largely organic, I still am souly an AI too."

Preathus led his guest into a large, white chamber.
"Yes, food. It should be ready shortly."

- System -
The ship sended numerous transmissions to random places in the galaxy, only one of them went to its destination. None of them were encrypted either. Most of it was useless information about an odd thing called 'Gravimin' however.

-Xatui-

Wind Flame: "Oh? Well, I am sure our tech can prove useful to that aim. Not quite organic but adaptable."

Vangarel: "Good, because I am starving. By the way, I think you will be impressed with a gift I brought. I will give it to you once we are seated." *at least I hope he likes it...*

- Xatui -
The organic ship shifted slightly.
"Do you wish to test it?"

Preathus perched beside the table.
"I look forward to it. Tell me, how are things with your people? I have been so busy, I have had little time to keep up."

- Thyala -
Ssisithus got his information, he then contacted different departments of the "Goverment."
He then looked over the proposed plans for a more efficient factory.

-Xatui-

Wind Flame showed the orange light of confusion at that remark. "What do you mean?"

Vangarel : "My people are doing well. Life goes on as usual, but I have trouble with my council... most of them are outraged at having an ally in an alien race. Luckily I have enough support, but I fear sabotage and attempts on my life." he sighed, grimacing. "You're going to have a lot to prove..." He then reached into his hipsack with his mouth and brought out a figurine of his own race, chiseled out of pure diamond, and set it before Preathus. It was a perfect image, very well done. "I apologize, but we know our anatomy best so this is all that could be made."

- Above Arkithis -
The drone was struck with 'GRAVMIN IS POWER.' It meeped silently to itself, then curled into a ring and fell alseep.

- Xatui -
"I have consturcted a virtual reality. Just a blank... room." She said.

Preathus picked the item up gently.
"It is beautiful." He said quietly, then, setting it back down, stood and wandered over to a wall. "We have a gift for you also, though perhaps not quite as beautiful in its looks."

- Thyala -
Ssisithus looked at this design.
He examined it throughly. "An excellent design." He commented.
"Yes, replace all factories with this design, this will help our economy in the long run, and we need a strong economy to achieve our goals and make the galaxy a b... well... do it."
