Prelude to the Ages

"Ok, I comes."

- Creator's Home -
The Creator' picked up the small Kree'th and moved to the lift.
"Your family. You're going to see them."

- Sector 259 -
"Rally the fleet. We attack them now." The Arbiter snarled.

The Kree'th blinked in surprise and signed "Family? This is not something I knew I do have?"

- Founder race Homeword -
"You do. We con't fight. You can..."

A portal opened above the planet.

"Fight?" The Kree'th blinked again. "I don't want that it's all I am meant for! Must be something more!!" The Kree'th shook.

- Founder race Homeworld -
"There is always more."
The lift stopped in a massive room.
She stepped into it. A huge ship was docked there.
"This is the Gallery. You are our only defense, and we are about to get hit. Hard."
Even as she spoke, what sounded like an exposion sounded further up the building.
She hurried to the ship above.

The Kree'th yelped. "What goes on now, is this the hit?"

"No. That was just a missile. A stray." Creator' said, holding him tightly.
Two guards stood at the entrace of the craft. They let them in.
Creator' found herself being watched by other Kree'th.
"Your water training," She spoke to them all, "has been for this. You will defend your homeworld, or we will die." She said simply.

The Kree'th shivered. "So big responsibilty... I don't want disappoint."

"You won't. But... our guards just died. So I will have to stay." She placed the Kree'th down. "I love you all."
Something hissed behind her.
"As family."
It hissed again.
Creator' turned.
"Creator of Life..." Exodus laughed.
"Demon." She siad, summoning up her energy claws. Her shields flared up, blue in colour.
"And the Shadow to Claim all Minds." The Serpent hissed from the doorway into the ship.
Creator' looked at the Kree'th.
"Stay."

The Kree'th obeyed, feeling an intense fear and sadness for the Creator, wondering what will happen to him...

The Creator' stroked his snout, sighed, then went to the Shadow Serpent - who was huge. Both seemed to crouch, ready to strike.
The door sealed and the lights went out.
The ship's engines flared.

The Kree'th felt alone, and silently sat down and shivered...

- Ship -
Another, larger, blue Kree'th looked down at the Kree'th.
It tapped the plastic tank to get his attention.

The Kree'th looked at the blue one, awestruck.

The Kree'th pressed a tentacle against the tank.
"Hello!" It signed.

The Kree'th excitedly signed, "Hello! are you of my kind?"

The blue Kree'th 'nodded'.
"Yes, yes. But you are the oldest of here. I am scared."

"Me too, I know not what will happen...."

"I think we fight the Eslaoni." The blue one tolf him. "They give armour soon. Make us very big."

The Kree'th thought for a moment. "We stay calm, we don't panic, keep a clear head. We must, or we will not make those we defend proud."

- Above the Founder Homeworld -
Soon the ship cleared the atmosphere. The water was quickly drained from the tanks.
The blue Kree'th floated up and hit the ceiling with a slight thud. It made a slight squealing noise before a group of about six Founder scientists and engineers entered the room. They looked at the small Kree'th oddly, then the ceiling opened up.
A large, mostly metal, roughly Kree'th-shaped 'vehicle' was lowered from 'up' there.
The word 'SI' was painet in white in it's right side.

The Kree'th looked in wonder at the ship, wondering where it would take them.

- Above the Founder Homeworld -
One of them picked the small Kree'th and went to the thing, which was about five meters long.

The Kree'th looked at the person holding him, then signed, "What goes on next?"
